​​What’s your role at Metalis, and what does a typical day look like for you?

I’m a Recruitment Consultant covering Temporary Shop Floor roles across all regions. No two days are the same in recruitment! But my day can consist of speaking with existing/new clients and candidates, arranging interviews and my favourite part … letting candidates know they’ve been successful and have got their dream job.

What did you do before you worked at Metalis and how has it shaped your career?

Prior to working at Metalis, I gained experience in both Engineering and Healthcare recruitment, two very different, yet rewarding sectors. My time in Healthcare definitely made me realise that Engineering and Manufacturing are where my true passions lie.

What do you enjoy the most about working at Metalis?

I think it’s such a rewarding feeling working with a candidate from start to finish, some who may be out of work constantly searching on job boards for what they feel is the right fit, to being able to tell them they’ve been offered a position which was exactly what they’d been looking for.

When you're not at work, how do you like to spend your time?

Outside of work I love to spend time with friends and family, whether that be going for food/drinks/going shopping. Along with getting a few holidays in a year somewhere warm.
